Remedial Massage is best viewed as a maintenance strategy for keeping your body in great shape. It provides many benefits to the body that enhance health and wellbeing including:
Remedial Massage & Myotherapy both involve the use of specific assessments, relevant hands-on treatment techniques and, in many cases, home-exercise prescription to relieve pain and restore better function.
It's a little confusing to have more than one name to describe what we do, but essentially Myotherapy has recently been introduced as our industry has evolved, to describe more advanced qualifications in Remedial Massage Therapy.
Nowadays, Myotherapists learn more detailed assessments and more advanced treatment interventions than Remedial Massage Therapists do in their undergraduate qualification. However, it is worth noting that this is a recent change, and so Remedial Therapists who have been in the industry for over 10 years will often have a similar level of knowledge and skill as a recently graduated Myotherapist.
Since our team of therapists regularly engage in professional development, their knowledge and skills are exceptional, whether they are a qualified Remedial Therapist or Myotherapist.
Online bookings are available for some of our therapists but not for all.
If you are unable to find a suitable time online, or have questions about the type of booking to make or which therapist is right for you, please contact the therapist directly.
Each Team Member's contact number is included in their biography on Our Team page.
Our in-clinic prices (inc. GST) can be viewed here and range from $64 to $176 depending on the length of the session, therapist, and type of treatment. Please be aware that mobile/home visit consults incur a call out or travel fee on top of the consultation fee.
Our therapists are some of the best in the business and provide fantastic value-for- money given our respective skillsets and experience levels.
Yes, however the majority of the time you will need to pay the total fee upfront and then manually claim your rebate back from your health fund.
In most cases you can claim online and your rebate will land back in your account within 24 hours.
It goes without saying that you will need to have Remedial Massage or Myotherapy included on your health fund policy to gain access to these rebates.
Please be aware that Wellbeing Services are not eligible for Private Health Fund rebates, however to make it a little gentler on the bank balance, payment plans are available for the Wellbeing KickStart Packages.
If you have questions about this that are not answered here, please get in touch with our Wellbeing & Performance Consultant, Thea Dillon, via email: Thea@nomoreniggles.com.au.
